Near the Pasila railway station in Helsinki there is a huge library with books in over 100 languages. You can even practice Finnish there in Kielikahvila Suoma.

Pasila library was designed by Kaarlo Leppänen. It was built in 1986. These photos were taken last April.

Is the construction stil going on at Pasila or have they torn down the plywood so that one no longer has to circle around to get to the library?

DeleteThe building next door is under construction, but all the usual routes to the library are in use.
