Entresse library

In today's post we'll visit a library in Espoo. It's called Entresse and is located in the mall of the same name.

Finnish libraries don't stop amazing me. They are not just the palaces of books – there are exhibitions and various events in the libraries too. Computer lessons for seniors, art exhibition, knitting clubs – anything is possible in a library here.

Entresse library is very colourful, I liked that. Finnish libraries won't let you get bored :D.

I liked these chairs. They look strange, but are actually very cozy. The glass panels even muffle some sound, so you can sit there in oasis of almost silence. Bliss.

Russian books. Books in quite a few languages are available there.

If you don't speak Finnish yet, libraries offer you lots of books for studying, like this one.

Don't you want to grab a book and sit here?

Russian authors in Estonian. In Finland. *_*

Manga.

Children's kingdom. The octopus is a mascot of kids' departments of Helsinki metropolia libraries.

No child can resist something so cheerful and nice, right? :)

There are books in foreign languages for kids there as well. Immigrant children want to read too after all ^.^ I wonder how many books in Uzbek or Kazakh are available in Moscow libraries though...

    1. It's right in the center of Espoo, near the train station. On the other side of train tracks there is a medieval church worth seeing. By the way, this weekend there(address: Kirkkopuisto 5)will be a traditional Finnish market:

You can buy souvenirs there and see cute animals ^^

  2. Latviešu-somu-latviešu vārdnīca ^^

  8. You are very blessed to have such a library.
Here in Israel we still have a lot to learn about making such attractive public libraries.
